pretty good mic stand

was looking for a mic stand to match my recently bought NT1 rode mic, rode's website recommended i purchased this one and i decided to do so through thomann as they're a trustworthy source

it supports the weight of the microphone very well, and although it does collect dust pretty fast, it's very easy to clean, and does everything a mic stand should do, being flexible and able to support several configurations, definitely recommend this if you're looking for a mic stand

We filmed podcasts for two days straight, and I didn't have to fasten this stand's screws once. It just stood there, stable and solid, not drooping once. We didn't have to think about it, which is what you want from such a piece.

Pretty good for the price.

I use this with an EV RE20 and it is ok. The next tier up is Yellowtec and is 3-4x the price of the DS2 so this was a solid compromise. The RE20 is heavy and it holds it moderately well, but the positions you can put the mic in are limited. For lighter mics I'm sure it will offer plenty of stability.
