I bought this case because it's too expensive to buy seats on the plane and I need to put my bass guitar in the hold but then be able to carry it around easily on the other side. I have put a bass in the hold with a Mono before and it was OK but I wanted to go next level and it seems this is it. It does feel more sturdy. I feeel a certain amount of peace of mind but this is probably coming from the advert of them throwing the bass out the wondow fro. The 5th floor promo. This summer it will be travelling in the hold often. I'll report back in September.

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem guten, stabilen Gigbag um ausgewachsene Bässe auch mit großer Kopfplatte und ausladenden traditionellen 4+1 Mechaniken (zb. Yamaha BBP35) safe unterzubringen und auf Bahn- und Flugreisen sicher zu transportieren. Und da hapert das Reunion Blues Exp m.E. leider etwas. Es ist sehr stabil und durabel gebaut, aber doch für mich etwas zu groß, va. zu lang- schlecht fürs Gepäckfach in der Bahn. Auch ist es relativ schwer. Mein Fazit nach einiger Herumprobiererei: Ich bleibe bei meinem Mono-Vertigo (dem einfachen!). Der Überhang über dem Kopf ist nicht zu lang- gut für das Manövrieren in Zügen. Der Kompromiss zwischen Gewicht und ausreichendem Schutz ist für mich der beste. Das ich das Trägersystem hier nicht verstauen kann stört mich nicht, denn ich trage das System eh stets auf dem Rücken oder über der Schulter. Mit der Hand ziehe ich entweder Rolltasche oder einen Amp auf Sackkarre.
