Remo 13" Ambassador Coated

Ambassador drum skins have a perfect balance of tone, response, and feel. They have a wide tunable range, and they sound great at all tensions. They are very versatile and sound great, no matter which genre you are playing. The attack is short, and the sustain gives the sound of the drum depth and warmth. The coated Ambassadors sound fantastic when matched with Ambassador Clear heads on the bottom. Tune them both to the same pitch, and the drum sings. The essential choice for serious drummers.

I have always played Remo. I find their heads reliable, durable, have lots of tone, wide tuning range, and hold the tuning well. I do not feel the need to switch brands. Recommended!

I switched from pinstripes to ambassadors as I needed a more open and lively sound on my toms. These are a great head and for a single ply they are quite tough. The coating does come off in the centre after a while, but they remain playable.

Pair them with clear ambassadors on the bottoms and you have a great lively sound.

Everything about drum heads is personal preference but if you want simple things, simple skin, amazing tuning, that's your skin!

Not much to say, this is my personal go to all-round snare drum head choice from the Remo range without getting too analytical and nerdy about it :D Always does the job!
