Great quality and feel for the price

Even though this is a relatively inexpensive drumhead, it still packs a punch with amazing dampening. It also feels basically like a normal bass drum if you apply the included kick drum patch.

Volume of base drum with Remo 22'' Silent Stroke

Very nice product. If the base drums has the resonant head with no holes, it will still result in a slightly-above expected volume. The tone is actually nice, but you might want to fill the base drum with something to dampen vibrations.

Excellent for quiet playing

The Remo silent stroke heads are really quiet and the good think is that you can get a clear pitch difference between the drums so the practice time is nice enough. I combined them with the Zildjian low volume cymbals and it worked great. The downside is that if you play a bit harder the Silent Stroke heads are not quite durable.
