They last years !

A cable that never breaks, but if it did, is easy to repair
Pro Snake Cables from Thomann are the best.
Premium quality cable, flexible and, when wound up correctly does not turn into a tangled mess. Connectors that can be removed for servicing. Always neat solders and good heat shrink.
I have over 500m and 70 Pro Snake cables in my touring stock. They are used every week. I don't stock any other brand. None have broken since they were purchased 2 years ago.
Cons: What cons? The price is very reasonable too!

Very cost effective
Initially we bought a few of these for a single event after establishing many of our mic cables didn?t do DMX reliably.
We found these coiled just as well, and worked just as well as a much more expensive competitor?s product. Our main reservation is that the connectors aren?t top of the range, but at the price we can afford to carry many many spares, so we do.
We liked them so much we bought a lot of them in different sizes.
Even at minimum wage we can?t make DMX cables this cheap and I am not entirely sure we can repair the shorter ones for less than they cost.

Amazing
I needed some DMX for my portable DJ set up and this bundle was perfect. It had load of the smaller cables for connecting lights that are close together, leaving little excess and some long ones so you can control your lights from a distance. And great value for money and great quality.
Only downside is they were bunched a bit tightly during shipping and caused a few kinks in the cables but that was easily worked out.
