Strong and weak at the same time
Lack of XLR inputs is really annoying.
No detents on the crossover, volume knobs.
The grill resonates, the woofer appeared to have a rattling noise - there was a bent cable leaning against it after taking it apart.
30hz is at -12dB, compared to 50hz.
Lots of chuffing from the front port. Plugged it with foam and lost a couple of dB around 45-50hz.
Not exactly flat, so beware that you may need to use room EQ for those. THD at everything below 50hz is around 1-3%.
Lots of SPL from that 50W amplifier, but at a price - not exactly clean.
I bought two, for a stereo configuration. They works great, once you modify, eq, calibrate and put them on heavy stands.
Otherwise - a HIFI sub would beat it in raw power, everything else would have to be calibrated anyway.
For 189€ I would not expect anything more, honestly.
Great transient response once you plug the ports and recalibrate.
