Great for practice and fun

Got this for hassle free practice and musical fooling around in and out of the house and it does the job well.
The sound coming out of it is not the best I’ve heard but for its size it really is great! Some disconnected-with-the-app issues from time to time but not so often as to become annoying.
I’ve read lots of complaints in forums and reviews from fellow users about bugs in the app and/or the unit or even it going kaput after some months of use. I’ve got it for 9 months now and it’s still going strong… 🤞
The omission of a looper is a big downer for me but I live with it.
Sometimes it gives out a low level radio interference kind of noise which is exacerbated with some high gain presets. The noise gate seems to help a bit but I avoid using it since it totally kills sustain, even at the lowest setting.
The freedom it gives me to play anywhere I want, inside or out of the house with a decent sound at a volume that doesn’t make neighbors want to sue me is a true blessing.
The battery life is very good, more than enough for me to be honest ( so far ).
All in all I’m very happy with it and I believe anyone with even marginally realistic expectations out of it will have them met if not exceeded.
[ thomann wise: Packaging was good and safe. No hidden fees. The delivery was a little later than advertised. No biggie. ]

Not bad but unfortunately underwhelming

Overall a decent amp for guitar. Good tone, software and hardware work fine and it’s quite convenient, especially considering it’s battery powered.

One of the main issues are that the device lacks bass. It’s mid-treble heavy to the point that if you don’t adjust the EQ for all sources and presets the treble will overpower everything. And if you do want to get some bass, it will distort those frequencies in order to get them to any decent level.

Most importabtly, the AUX input has a delay of around 0.5 seconds because it goes through the Digital Signal Processor. While that is okay if you’re playing a backing track, it makes it not usable for tracking live devices. I believe that for 200 euros a basic functionality that has been present in most devices since forever, should also be available here. It is not too difficult or expensive to implement that.

Not terrible but honestly the Spark 40 or Spark 2 are worth the price difference if you’re already spending this much.
