bought it for cheaper spare violin of my daughter. her no.1 uses thomastik dominant as her teacher recommended. this was luthiers choice according to my budget. dominant set sounds much better but this set also play and feel right.

I bought those strings for a small cretan lyraki to tune it a step higher (without the first E string of course, just the A, D, ang G strings). I believe it's an excelent choice for the price!
