A good (but not great) MIDI-controlled looper
tsiguel 13.11.2025
Using this for a midi setup with two different channels and I can do a LOT with it but unfortunately has a lot of annoyances that would prevent me from recommending it wholeheartedly. For the price/size/features it is still probably the best.

First some positives:
- Very comprehensive MIDI control - starting/stopping/overdubbing but also using midi clock, syncing to beats or bars, setting up time signatures, changing time signatures or modes.
- Has aux outputs that are really useful for flexibility
- Two channels with some flexible use
- Different volume levels for loops with master volume

Annoyances:
- Levels are a bit weird, very easy to clip the input
- Manual on the website is with errors and out of date - if you do some googling you can find one for the newest firmware but it's not obvious
- Settings that are set up through MIDI are using toggles - why not be able to use a midi CC to set for example stop mode to fade out?
- Even though manual hints at a feature where you can select channel 1, channel 2 or both, it is not used for anything. So if I want to for example fade out both channels I will need to chain stop -> ftsw 1 or 2 (need to also know which one is enabled -> stop - doable but annoying
- Without click kill the loop stitch is jarring unless no sound - why even have the option to have it off?
- Midi clock works until it doesn't - now I have learned what I should not do with it for example it can start drifting if you undo/erase at the same time. It does not make it very easy to sync to a different system also it is not clear from the manual which one is the main beat
Hint - first beat is the main beat and it will reset if you stop sending midi clock (at least you can reset it but I wish that was in the manual)

Overall I learned to work with it and it opens up the possibilities a lot but it is really finnicky.
- You cannot record to channel 2 unless you have something in channel 1 BUT you can forget that you have something in channel 2 while channel 1 is empty - why this arbitrary restriction?

With it's capabilities with a software update this can become an absolutely amazing device but it's a little annoying at the time.

JS
Decent but pricey
Jah Schmidt 07.11.2024
Sound is marked down as the low end is not as full as I would like (I'm looping a synth).
Build quality is Chinese - so on a budget - does not reflect the cost of the unit.
However the functionality and MIDI syncing is good. It's a fun pedal, just a bit pricey for what you're getting.
