Guter, zentrierter, voluminöser, leicht ansprechender Ton, sowohl in der Höhe als auch in der Tiefe. Die Tief kommt ein bisschen heller durch als bei dem PT-83+. Das PT-83 ist für das Spielen in großen Orchester bestens geeignet.
