I pimped it to perfection - add a pair of 38x33mm rubberfeet and use your fat power supply
Hi guys
I bought this one because I wanted to go small.
Few pedals, lightweight-board, easy transportation and handling.
I knew that power-supply is an issue due to the "Metros" flat design. I did not want to buy any flat battery-supplies nor some fancy extra-flat und therefore extra expensive supply.
Solution? Rise this thing! (one side is enough)
Take a drill of 5 - 10mm and remove two feet along the side, you are going to attach your power-supply;
Take two big rubber-feet (for example Adam Hall 38x33mm) and attach them with self-tapping screws. Within 5 minutes you are done. Do not be afraid of these big looking feet, after they are fixed you won't even notice them. The board has now a very gentile and comfy angle.
Now there should be enough space for most of the bulky power-supplies and other stuff (patch-box etc).
I bought a Harley Benton PowerPlant Junior, a superb and cheap one, attached it with 3M Low Profile DualLock - set and forget.
Use 3M DualLock (low profile) to attach all your pedals, especially the tiny ones - it is worth it!!!
------- Now this Pedaltrain Metro is awesome! Thumbs up! -------

Great quality
The thing I?m most impressed with is the product?s quality. It?s great!
However, I do have to say that if you have some bigger pedals, you should perhaps invest a little bit more money in a bigger pedalboard.

Perfect time saving purchase for modest amount of pedals
Every single band practice I would have to take a bag full of numerous pedals (overdrive, fuzz, delay, tuner and power supply) plus leads and cables. Would spend about 15 minutes setting up my rig which made my band mates pretty cheesed off.
So I have this Pedaltrain pedal board. Arrived oh so quickly as well! They come in numerous sizes and I needed one to fit around 5-6 pedals on. When I got this one there was no space for my power supply underneath (like the larger boards in the series) but thankfully (the Harley Benton PP Jr) is so small it just managed to fit on top.
A doddle to put together, just use the provided velcro and attach your pedals in the desired order - the hassle of plugging in all my effects has now gone. May need to upgrade to a larger one in the very near future but at least I know where to go now. The case is dead handy too!

Good pedalboard
I managed to put 7 pedals on this board. With flatter patch cables and smaller pedals you could even cram 8. Always plan the pedalboard outline well before buying, by e.g. using the online pedalboard planner.
I used this pedalboard for 5 years now (although not heavy use). It continues to serve me well. Truetone CS6 fits underneath. The soft bag is also good enough. Recommended.

Does exactly what I bought it for
The pedaltrain is very nice to mount a few pedals.
The only complaint I have is that I have a relatively large power distribution unit, which protrudes a lot from the pedal, thus the integration is not the best for my particular setup, but I think a lower profile PDU would work better. Otherwise very nice build quality, the bag is fantastic to store and move it around, and it has tape included!

nice size board
The metro 16 is a great size board, not too big, not too small. Its very light and quite well built. The welds are excellent and the powder coating is of good quality. Definitely happy with my purchase. The only cons that I can think of, are that with this board you may be limited as to what power supply you will be able to fit underneath. Cioks makes several (dc5 and dc7) that will fit, but other than that you haven't many options.

The right size for what really matters
I had enough of huge pedalboards which you end up taking with you only at the gig so I went to this to assemble a pedalboard for the pedals I really need as part of my tone shaping on bass
