Solid if a little awkward

Solid build as always with Pearl hardware however.. The rubber seating sits out quite a bit from the snare making it feel wider between the legs when playing, not ideal for someone who plays with a tight configuration. Also the top part doesn't rotate so I couldn't maneuver the braces out of the way of my legs. I really rate Pearl hardware but I think they make better (simpler) stands

Reliable and stable

This stand meets up to its expectations as any Pearl hardware would. It's solid, the legs are really stable and it's lock tilt system is very reliable (I always go for these snare stands with this round screw to tighten the grip of the drum, as you don't have to break your fingers while trying to screw it).
The only reason why I'm giving this stand 4 stars is because it's impossible to rotate the top part, except if using the lower screw, but you risk losing the adjusted height.
Overall, a great Pearl stand, great for drummers who hit hard and play double bass as it surely won't move or jiggle if you accidentally push it with your left or right leg when changing between pedals.

This is a heavy duty stand that is well made and has performed solidly.

The tightening knob for the snare basked is very helpful as it is large and easily accessible even when you can look at the stand for adjustment.
Its knurled surface gives a responsive feel that makes tightening easy.

It would be great if tilting would be universal rather than just up-down.
If that isn't a problem, then this is as good as you will ever need.
