I was looking for a shure m44-7 alternative, testing many different cartridges. I compared original Shure, Thakker replacement, Jico, Concorde Club and Scratch. While nothing can beat Jico, the second favourite were Scratch. Concorde Club had an unpleasant sound for me (awful higher mids with this weird boost that literally made each record sound wrong). The Scratch ones have a very good sound and awesome tracking. Scratch are my back-up pair for gigs now cause they are also easy to pack.
