sound-wise a 'no go' for me
I honestly don't understand that higher mid boost. It makes the records sound different than intended and it feels unpleasant to my ears. Across many genres, percussion and vocals don't sound nice and musical. I cannot enjoy this sound. Concorde Scratch sound so much better.
