Very easy to install and it sounds great!

It requires a bit of research depending on the pickups, but once you have the wiring diagrams, it's very straightforward.

Installed this piece of electronics. Looked like ok quality, nothing exceptional. Very poor quality instructions, the leaflet showed how to connect to a 10 pin Block, even though my part had an 8 pin Block. Confusion right there. Eventually figured out the connections, quite fiddly, but not too bad. The disappointment came when everything was plugged in. Extremely noisy. Tried humbuckers, single coils, P-90s, stratSS, filtertrons,...... You name it. Basic sound through amp was ok, but Extremely noisy. Have gone back to just soldering as usual with my old pots, no problems and quiet as it should be. I like the idea, but the excecution and quality of this product is just sub-par.

Quality, convenient upgrade

Attaching the pickup wires to the connectors is a bit finnicky and requires patience, but it beats soldering. Once you get a feel for it it's extremely convenient to be able to (dis)connect pickups in a matter of minutes.

As i also changed my pickups it's difficult to describe the exact effect the electronics have had on tone, but the pots are completely noiseless in comparison to what was installed stock in the guitar. The range of the volume and tone controls is drastically improved. Way more dynamic.

The harness itself is a perfect fit for my stock Made in Mexico Telecaster. Easy to mount on the control plate, with enough spare nuts, washers and ferrules for the knob shafts. A Switchcraft jack is also included.

Highly recommended.

nicht ganz solderless

Ich glaube, in Zukunft werde ich keine Solderless Elektroniken mehr kaufen:
erstens muss man die Enden der Kabeln löten, sonst kann man sie nicht in die Solderless Elektonik reinschieben. Und das war eine Fizelei - löten wäre einfacher gewesen.
Spannend auch, dass ich ein weiteres Loch in meine Tele Abdeckung bohren musste, da standard nicht standard zu sein scheint.
Sound toll, macht, was sie soll. Nur Installation habe ich mir einfacher vorgestellt.
