Both units I purchased failed in different ways
I purchased two units (two transmit/receive pairs). The units initially functioned well, auto-selected a usable frequency, the transmitter and receiver synced quickly and the units functioned without static or interference.
However... for one pair, the momentary contact button to power the unit on and off failed within the first year of light to moderate use. This rendered one pair completely unusable. WIthin two years of light to moderate use, the other pair began to lose the ability to hold a charge for more than an hour. This made the second pair unusable on stage.
Note: Our band only plays about 10 shows a year.
Conclusion: reliability and durability of this product are questionable.

Great if you like...
losing all sound infront of three hundred people. The went red and lost all sound twice in two gigs. No one else in the band was using wireless and both venues had no Wlan. One gig was outside and one inside. The second gig was very embarassing to have to swap to cable half way though a song. How can I trust this in the future? I've sent it back for repair but I fear it's the device itself that's not fit for purpose.
