Almost the perfect midi controller
It is a very powerful controller, I used it with fl studio and to control synths. It's small, well built and easy to set with the novation components software. I wish it had led rings around each encoder.

Useful daw controller
The Novation Lcxl is a good piece overall. The faders and the knobs respond pretty ok and the interaction with Ableton in immediately...but I use machine software with no problem at all.
