I've found the Neutrik NC3 FXX-BAG to be a top-notch connector that consistently delivers reliable connections. The quality and finish are exceptional, and I appreciate the ability to swap out the ring and strain relief with different colors. The connector mates very well and provides a nice, firm grip inside, which eliminates any wobbling. I've used cheaper connectors in the past that started having problems over time, but I've never had any issues with Neutrik. The price may be slightly higher than some other brands, but the significantly better quality makes it well worth the investment. I've been using Neutrik connectors exclusively and have never had any problems with them. The next generation of XLR cable connectors has truly improved contact integrity and cable strain relief, making it more reliable and easier to assemble.

What more to ask from a connector?

XX-BAG connectors are good looking, very robust, dead easy to solder, consistent. The color coding rings are a beautiful touch.

I always use them for cables and haven't have one fail yet. A top quality connector.
