Shield issue

The external part is aluminium and is different compared to the traditional Neutrik connector. This external part shields only from RF field but not shield the 50/60Hz magnetic fields. The external aluminium part do not contact with the ground shield and does not make electrostatic shielding. Avoid this connector if you use 4 wire XLR cables (for example SC Symbioyic 3)!
