The neumann TLM102 is a really great for it's price.

I used it alot on vocals, acoustic guitar & mandolin.

I kinda perfer this one over the tlm103, which has a more "presence" boost going on. The tlm 102 sounds more natural too me.

I think this product has good quality no doubt buy you have to be mindful if this Mic is suitable for you voice as it is sibilant. It is a downgrade from the tlm 103 though, a good preamp will 100% help improve the sound, along with the room treatment

Great Microphone for a great price

Great entry microphone for Neumann!

It is a very neutral microphone regarding EQ. Great for radio broadcast, vocal recordings and really great when it comes to instrument recording. I use it mostly to record Acoustic and Electric guitar along with my sm57.

I would recommend it for somebody that wants to entry the Neumann world.

I switched from the Rode NT2-A to the Neumann TLM 102, and I can say that if your voice has strong sibilants, the TLM 102 will reduce them a bit, but they’ll still be present. Overall, in terms of sound, I really like it — very balanced, natural, and clean.
