Great addition to the mic locker for a small price!

I got this as a cheap additional to my collection of large diaphragm microphones. I figured it looked cool and was cheap and I'd definitely find a use for it in the studio.

It took about a month for me to receive the mic after ordering it as Thomann had run out of stock - so it was a nice surprise when it arrived!

The V67G is not a tube mic, but it's sound is apparently based on one! It is very warm sounding with quite detailed mids, but a smooth top end, and actually, surprisingly, sounds really, really nice!

I've used it on vocals and I love it, I would be interested to see how it performs in other applications such as on acoustic instruments.

The only disappointing this about the mic is it's lack of features. It would be really nice to have had a built in high pass filter, pad, or the option to switch polar patterns, but at the same time, I quite like the simplicity of this mic!

It sounds great, and I'm glad I added this one to my collection!

Condenser mic with personality

Bought this to replace a very bright and clear Røde microphone, wanting to get some more personality for my recordings. I find this to be darker than the Røde, and for my home studio needs it works well. The color is bonus.
