Excellent, once you understand it!
This is really a recording device . I wanted to use it to try to render the sound of my acoustic mandolin on my electric mandolin, which I use ti avoid feedback etc at loud gigs. At first, I got a lot of hiss and it was quiet, but that was because I had just plugged it into pedals and the instrument. If instead you put the acoustic instrument into an acoustic amp and use a DI output from the amp, then you can get really good output and it works well.
Another use: for acoustic instruments, record them properly with mics etc into this pedal, then use the pedal to support the piezo output from the instrument at a live gig.
All in all this is well worth the money. It is actually cheaper and better than using an acoustic simulator pedal.
