Excellent son à petit prix

Installé dans un Princeton Reverb Custom 64 en remplacement d'un HP Oxford ancien qui avait été réparé et commençait à trop baver dans les graves.
Très bonne surprise, ce HP sonne vraiment très bien, on retrouve l'esprit des HP Fender Oxford originaux mais avec une meilleure tenue des basses (vous ferez pas du Metal avec quand même... ). C'est chaud, avec de jolis aigus mais pas agressif, ça crunch joliment en poussant le volume, les basses tiennent beaucoup mieux (c'est pas hyper ferme mais c'est tout le charme de ces amplis aussi). La fabrication fait un peu cheap (Jensen rebrandé ? ) mais vu le prix et le son, on s'en moque

Positive Überraschung für den Princeton

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Ersatzspeaker für meinen ToneMaster Princeton Reverb. Der verbaute Jensen war mir im Bassbereich etwas zu schwach auf der Brust.
Beim Durchstöbern der Alternativen bin ich auf den Mojotone-Speaker gestoßen. Rein optisch würde ich sagen, dass diese Speaker auch von Jensen gebaut werden, der Korb sieht fast 1:1 aus wie der bei den Jensens. Allerdings sah das Freuenzdiagramm deutlich anders aus.
Soundmäßig gab es dann auch eine positive Überraschung. Der Amp hat viel mehr Bassfundament und ist bei hoher Lautstärke deutlich stabiler im Sound. Die Höhen sind angenehm und nicht ganz so spitz wie beim Jensen. Für mich ein deutliches Upgrade für den Princeton.
