Honestly I'm the first person to go for cheap equipment and I'm often very satisfied because a lot of cheap stuff is really as useful as more expensive equipment. But in this case, I really should have gone for a more expensive stand. I bought this with an Evans RF 6GM practice pad, as the stand moves all over the place, I guess because it is too light. Also, it adds extra noise when you hit the pad because the stand is hollow, and the thread goes loose after a few minutes of practicing. All and all, it's best to go for a better stand.

You get what you pay for
The quality really isn't great. The practice pad kept slipping down because the screws are made from cheap plastic. And when I went to tighten the screws to stop this happening, thr plastic snapped so now I can't use it. This probably happened within the first 2 months, so yeah not a very good product
