So the headline might not make sense. Let me explain.
My needs changed. I need 12 inputs and 4 outputs.
I was hoping that inside the patch bay there are inputs and outputs connected by a cable, hence the size and it would only require unscrewing the front and back and flipping the connectors.
Unfortunately, they're connected through a PCB, so it's not an easy swap.
But if it's a PCB, it's unnecessarily deep for that. It could have been half or even a third of the depth and it would have still worked.
