Saves so much time, I love it! If you do not have one yet, buy one. Get it from Thomann :-)

I love this bit
I leave it in a cheap b+d drill for quick head changes. Funnily enough the lower torque setting on the drill gets me to within fine tuning my snares

necessary and handy for quick work nice piece nice price
GK Audio & Acoustics 16.01.2025
I used it to change drum heads on my set. As a tool it is necessary and handy, as you put it on a drill and you work very quick an' easy to release the bolts. It has good quality and it fits the drum bolts nicely and tight. In the process of tightening and tuning it can be used for the first roll of the bolts then for precise tuning you need the hand key. It has a very nice price too. Buy a couple as it is easy to be lost or give it as a gift to a friend.

Quick drumhead changes
The Berck 20.03.2026
I bought this specifically to quickly swap out resonant heads on a kick drum when dealing with a shared backline between bands, and it works exactly as intended. It fits any power drill, making the process fast and efficient. Perfect for those quick changeovers.
I also use it when I’m doing a full re-heading job, and it really speeds things up when removing heads (putting them back on still requires a bit more care 😉).
Overall, a simple but very practical tool that saves a lot of time and wrist turns!
