Nice addition to a cajon !

I bought this product to inset my cajon setup and i'm glad i did that.
It's well build , and stays stable on the foot .
The sound is good for a foot tamborine and notice that when i play it with my heel down it has more open sound and when i press with my toes , it has more stackato sound wich is another good option to have.
Also i like the feature for controling the space between tambourine and shoespoon , It helps with stability on the shoe.
In general, i'm happy to have it.

Guter Klang, gute Verarbeitung.
Im Vergleich zum billigeren Meinl Heel Tambourine ist der Professional um Einiges besser:
- Der Schuhlöffel ist mit 8 cm Länge nur 3 cm zu lang für Halbschuhe.
-Mittels einer Stellschraube (leider Plastik auf Metallgewinde!) drückt der Schuhlöffel gegen einen Holzklotz und hält im Schuh.

Doch warum ist der Schuhlöffel nicht nahezu parallel zum Holzklotz? Das hätte mehr Halt auf der ganzen Fläche gebracht. So drückt der Holzklotz nur mit seiner unteren Kante punktuell dagegen. Eine verschenkte Chance auf noch festeren Halt.

Es gibt leider nicht nur einen kurzen Schlag, sondern beim Heben des Fußes scheppert es schon ein wenig im voraus.

Ich habe eine ganze Reihe von Fuß-Tamburins verglichen und war mit dem Meinl Professional Heel Tambourine durchaus zufrieden.

Allerdings gebe ich dem Drumport StopTech Jingle Clip aus zwei Gründen den Vorzug:
1. Der Sound
2. Der Clip

zu 1.: Der Sound gefällt mir beim Drumport einfach besser. Das Meinl Heel Tambourine klingt für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen blechern.

zu 2.: Der Clip dieser Fersentamburine erlaubt prinzipiell zwei verschiedene Anwendungsweisen: Wie vorgesehen an der Ferse in den Schuh gesteckt oder auf dem Rist unter die Schnürsenkel geschoben. Der breite "Schuhlöffel" des Meinl Heel Tambourine ermöglicht einen guten Sitz bei der Anwendung an der Ferse, aber ist sehr fummelig, wenn man ihn unter die Schnürsenkel schieben will. Hier hat der schmale Metallclip des Drumport Jingle Clip einen weiteren Vorteil.

Daher gebe ich das Meinl Professional Heel Tambourine wieder zurück.
