Sound nice; one bad loop in my set
I bought these to replace the factory strings on my mandolin, which I had been using for a few months. These definitely sound better and became tuning-stable much quicker than the original strings.
However I have to dock points as one of .014 string loop-windings looked a bit different to the other and, sure enough, it broke at that point whilst I was (slowly) tuning it up to pitch for the first time.
Luckily, I had some cheap Harley Benton valuestrings spare to take another .014 from.
