Those new 2022 Greenbacks are harsh in the highs and scooped in the mids

The cab fit and finish is not at the required level.
The sound of the 2022 G12M-25 Greenbacks is not the same compared to the ones I have from 2020. They look exactly the same, both UK made but my old ones have very musical and vintage mid range and highs while the new ones that came with the 1960BX from 2022 are nothing like them - scooped in the mids and harsh in highs.

Optik sowie Sound sind perfekt, die Greenbacks benötigen etwas Einspielzeit (ca 30-50 Stunden) damit sie in den Höhen noch runder werden. Die gerade Version hat einfach mehr Druck und Fülle... Ich bin rundherum zufrieden!

Du Green back dans un bac Marshall pan droit,de bonne facture,comme d'habitude chez Marshall pas de surprise.
Le son des HP à un côté plus vintage et plus rond que des v 30.
Exellent choix pour du blues,Pop,etc

I recently purchased this cab loaded with Greenback G12M celestion speakers, and i do have to admit that with Greenbacks…. JUST CAN’T BEAT’EM !!! They deliver that chime mid range for that classic ‘GNARLY’ Marshall tone sound. The BX combined with a JMP 1987 is absolute HeLL oN eARTH.
