Excellent mouthpiece offering good projection to cut through large Big Band ensemble. Very comfortable rim (not overly wide and slightly rounded) Though it is the deepest Shew cup model, the piece is still really a 'lead type' piece in my experience. If you are comparing it with the Yamaha Shew Jazz model.. there is big difference !
