Never has a 51' sounded better.

Comes in a nice box well protected. Cable diagrams are included and it was easy to solder into the body. Paired with Flatwounds it gives the perfect vintage tones. This is now one of my favorite pickups I own, even thinking of going on tour with it.

J'ai acheté ce micro pour monter sur une basse précision que j'ai fabriqué moi même. Le son est trés "roots", le rendu est original et j'adore couper la tonalité. J'ai monté des cordes enduites rotosound black nylon et on a un rendu proche d'une contrebasse. J'adore !

On me l’a installé sur ma première basse, une Squier P51, le jour où je l’ai reçue, donc je ne peux même pas faire un comparatif avec le micro original.
Je suis guitariste et mes guitares ont des micros Lollar… je dirai juste qu’à priori les Lollars pour les basses c’est comme pour les guitares : tout est normal et très simple.
Ça sonne, c’est réactif au jeu, c’est bien…

Für meinen Squier P Bass suchte ich einen besseren pickup, da der verbaute Standardpickup doch erhebliche (Sound) Mängel für mich aufweist. Ich entschied mich für den Lollar Pickup und muss sagen...wow...Volltreffer. Ich habe auf den Bass LaBella Saiten aufgezogen, einen Schaumstoff als Dämpfer untergeschoben und spiele über einen Ampeg Rocket Amp. Ohne zu übertreiben...bääm...back into the 60ties. Der Lollar pickup lässt für mich keine Wünsche offen. Das Frequenzspektrum wird ohne Schwächen in allen Lagen perfekt wiedergegeben. Im Vergleich zu modernen pickup's, die evtl. etwas kräftiger und brillianter klingen, klingt der Lollar absolut druckvoll und authentisch nach motown sound. Verarbeitung und Passgenauigkeit sind exzellent. Ich bin vollauf zufrieden. Wer einen originalen
