Lewitt Beatkit Pro

The heading says it all, but let me elaborate. The Lewitt Beatkit Pro lives up to it's description quite perfectly. at nearly every turn, it is of premium value, whether it be the sound, build quality, versatility of usage, and overall capability. The eye catcher in this group is the kick mic (Lewitt DTP 640 REX) which houses 2 differently patterned capsules in the same body. Not only is this design useful for multiple applications, but it also saves an great amount of time, since both capsules are time-aligned. Instead of having to get the phase alignment right, this has it all figured out so that you can just place it and go. It also just sounds really freaking great!
This drum microphone package goes way above and beyond what I've seen some of the more commonly-named substitutes, and continues to be my go-to for drum miking and similarly related applications.
