Korg microKEY 25

The Korg MicroKEY25 USB MIDI keyboard is a good "portable" tool due to its small size. It is USB powered and equipped with a joystick for modulation/pitch bend, a key to activate the arpeggiator (which is tempo-synced), a key for sustain, and of course the keys for changing octaves.
The keys are semi-balanced ("Natural Touch") and give a good feeling.
Compatible with Windows, Mac OS X (as well as iPad), I tested it with FL Studio without any problems.
Recommended, especially considering the price.

I travel a lot for work, and this was bought as an on the road companion. We’ve been across the Atlantic a couple of times, and made music virtually anywhere you can think of. Fits in my backpack, works on USB 5V. Awesome!!

I was looking to get something to bring along with me in a laptop bag. The quality of the keys are okay for the price and feel really nice to play. It's compact and fitted great into my laptop bag (MacBook 13'' sized). Would highly recommend. It's easy to setup and get working with Logic. The keyboard also comes with a key for some free Korg sounds which can be fun to check out!

If you looking for a very compact bus powered keyboard with octave shift function, cc64 (sustain pedal) controll button, pitchwheel-modulation joystick and arpeggiator, this keyboard is a must have device. It seems for this price it does not have an alternative.

small, durable and portable. Fits well in most backpacks. Had mine for about 3 years and it's still pristine despite heavy use. Quite dust-proof with the exception of the pitch bend stick that gets dust trapped inside sometimes

I am not a keyboardist, but this thing helps quickly add synth parts to the song, very compact and reliable

Cool handy little keyboard. I've been using it on my desk in front of my DAW just for a convenient set of keys to be close by. Pitch and mod are combined in one control which might not suit all but for this size keyboard it is just the job.
