Surprisingly good for the price.

I am a professional double bass player and I have a wide range of top quality pickups and mics from Thomann. I was looking though for something that would give me a certain sound with a lot or growl. I saw someone using this one in a guitar so I decided to try it on my contrabas. To my surprise the sound result is marvellous. I am so happy with it that I use it now in every gig on my contrabas.

Excellent piece of kit

Many years ago when I was touring in Finland a local engineer made me a similar pick up which is really discrete and could be attached to the top of the bridge of the double bass, this is exactly the same, perfect solution for reinforcing sound
