K&G baut Mundstücke auf sehr hohem Niveau. Bei dem K&G 4,5+ rasten die Töne noch besser ein im Vergleich zur "Standardserie" (was auch schon toll ist). Pluspunkte sind ein unglaublich angenehmer Mundstückrand, super Ansprache und ein sehr runder, weicher Sound (das Mundstück wird auf einer Tenorposaune Slokar Performance von Kühnl&Hoyer gespielt). Nicht so toll ist bei den K&G Mundstücken, dass man sich nicht unbedingt auf die angegebene Größe verlassen kann (subjektiv ist der Innendurchmesser etwas kleiner als auf dem Papier) ; man muss also mehrere Größen durchprobieren. Im Vergleich ist der Sound des Standard K&G 4,5 geringfügig "offener", die Standardserie hat eine noch bessere Klangprojektion. Für ich ist aber das "+"-Mundstück auf der Posaune mittlerweile erste Wahl. Ich kann mir kein besseres Mundstück derzeit vorstellen und es unbedingt weiterempfehlen.
