Great unit, crushing around, one minor complaint
This thing sounds massive. An excellent clone of the DG alpha-omega (minus one or two features, bit I'm not bothered by it not having them, to be honest).
It has no bad setting, almost everything os usable on one context or another. I was surprised by the fuzz tone, I actually liked it a bit more than the DG/Omega tone, which is also a bery nice tone that's not to be ignored.
My only nit-pick is not being able to engage the drive channel without having the clean/preamp one also on. Having them separate could be useful when you have a good active bass with good EQ settings on it.
The unit itself is sturdy and solid, pots feel nice, oily, and of good quality.
If you're a touring musician, DK definitely deserve the extra cash for inventing the original, the DG tone, good customer care, and for the solidity. I know I'd go that route if it fit my needs and budget. But for bedroom musician who's a fan but cannot afford the real thing, this one is a damn good pick.
Bonus: combine the clean/preamp channel or this, with the drive channel of a microtube X (like i did), or with another drive pedal. The tone is a metal players dream.

Amazing!
I have nothing bad to say about this, it’s an awesome fairly affordable bass preamp, and has yet to fail me

Good for its price
The cab sim works only through the XLR output, not the headphone jack. There's a typo on the Ground Lift button. Overall, the device is solid for its price.

Amazing value!
This pedal is an extremely useful and essential tool in creating a quality distorted tone. sounds 99.9999% the same as the Darkglass Alpha Omega Ultra, but for a small fraction of the price. looks great on my board and blends very well. the seperate volume controls for overall and distorted tone come in handy often.

Absolute steal for the money
A must have for a gigging bass player. You can sound good in any crappy amp (or even without an amp directly in line).
Built quality is outstanding for this price.
Can't recommend it enough.
