With this thing I can make a high gain monster from my Orange OR50 or OCD overdrive. A lot of output power and flexible EQ (and very useful low cut switch). Maybe if you know what boosting profile do you need you can find a cheaper option but if you don't - this thing is a great choice. I am enjoying it a lot.

Very versatile, great quality pedal. If you have a guitar, you need it.
Do you want to make your clean amp crunchy/warmer/bluesier etc? Add more gain/power/details to your JCM800? Control your bass tone recording directly to audio interface? You will get it and much more.
This is my main pedal in a chain and it will be your main pedal if you play in a huge variety of genres.
I have budget pedals in a chain also and I love them as well. But in case of Clover I know what I paid for.
