Had to change the strings to synthetic as opposed to steel core to suit me better but other than that, great sound to the instrument, lovely depth and easy to play!

J'ai acheté mon premier alto chez Thomann car c'était hors de mon budget chez un luthier. J'avais recherché des avis sur des marques, et surtout demandé conseils à ma professeure. J'ai pris la taille adulte (4/4). Je l'ai fait testé dès son déballage par ma prof. Le résultat l'a très agréablement surprise. Il est au top, et va bien s'ouvrir avec le temps. Il y a des harmonies. La finition est parfaite. Le son est excellent. Un instrument qui saura se bonifier avec le temps et vaudra plus dans quelques années. Moi qui suis guitariste à la base, je ne savais pas que ces instruments ce bonifiait ainsi. Par contre il faut oublier l'archer proposé avec...A changer de suite. Dans le kit il manque le "coussin" ou épaulière. Achat impératif mais moins urgent, car une écharpe repliée peut faire l'affaire en attendant. Au final, allez y les lieux fermés !

Je suis très agréablement surprise par la qualité de fabrication de cet alto (en comparaison à d'autre un peu plus ou beaucoup plus chers), de plus il est très joli. Le son avec les cordes fournies est déjà bien, mais j'ai installé rapidement le set des cordes Evah Pirrazzi Gold. Cet alto est facile à positionner sur l'épaule et les démanchés sont plis aisés pour moi que sur un autre alto allemand bien plus cher que j'ai acheté chez un luthier proche de chez moi. Il faut trouver la bonne épaulière bien-sûr aussi. Cet alto me donne l'impression (dès que j'ai commencé à le jouer) qu'il va encore plus se bonifier avec le temps, qu'il a des capacités à pouvoir nous suivre dans nos progrès. Par contre: le chevalet installé d'origine m'inquiète un peu, à tort ou à raison; j'ai pris confiance mais j'avais l'impression le premier jour qu'il allait se plier en deux ou casser. Pour l'instant tout va bien.
