OK but I like a real reed better

Good beginner reed from sure but if you want timbre and crisp overtones it's not the reed for you get an old-school bamboo "stick" instead.
Dadario's Royal series is good

the reed is quite thin (like a Vandoren 1) and could break quite easily. Good for no need for cleaning and easy response.
