Ich habe mich für das fiberreed Carbon entschieden, da ich kürzlich erst eine Chalumeau gekauft habe, nie vorher mit einem Blattinstrument zu tun hatte und da ich kein nasses Holz mag musste kurzfristig eine andere Lösung her. Als kurzfristige Lösung entschied ich mich zuerst für die Studentenversion eines anderen Herstellers. Das Blatt ließ sich für einen Anfänger wirklich gut spielen, aber der Klang war nur ganz ok. Im Vergleich dazu klingt das Fiberreed Carbon um Welten besser.

Am Anfang hat es sehr leicht und oft noch gequietscht, aber das ließ nach kurzen Üben sehr schnell nach. Das Blatt lässt sich gut ansprechen und hat in Verbindung mit meinem Instrument einen tollen Sound. Alternativ habe ich das fiberreed natural classic probegespielt, was ich vom Klang her nicht so warm empfand in Verbindung mit meinem Instrument. Da ich Neuling bin, kann ich jetzt nichts im Vergleich zu hochwertigen Blättern aus Holz sagen.
