Fine as a backup
murtoll 16.11.2021
These strings are ok for the price. They wear out pretty quickly and seem to come coated in some kind of grease from the manufacturing process. They sound decent whilst fresh. They make my fingers smell funny.

Ok for the price
Noisy bugger 13.03.2020
Bought 10 sets, half of them were dead and dull sounding straight out the packet, the other half were actually decent for the price per set. Strings were bright and clear, lasted a couple of weeks before going dull. Some sets also left black residue on my fingers.
All in, not bad for a budget set of strings, can't really go wrong.

The strings are ok. But great value for the money
Jelle Flanders 04.03.2025
I had these valuestrings just to try them. I was curious to test them. I would say these strings will not last a long time. The sound when i putted those strings on my guitar was great. After several weeks or days. Those strings were not as clean if they were new. They wear out quickly and it becomes harder to bend. If i would give it a score out of ten. I would give these strings 6/10. These are great value for their money and they are really good short time use, but i rather spend 6 euro's on ernie ball that are great quality than these strings.

Five of six strings have been good
Lindroos 06.04.2018
I put a set of these strings on my Cort Evl Z4 and all and all they've sounded great. However, the first string (high E-string, thinnest string) snapped when I was changing them from the last set. As I bought these strings as a test because of the price, I'm still satisfied with the overall quality of the strings. They have had a good ring to them the couple of months I've had them (together with an Ernie Ball E-1) and I think I'm going to buy a few sets to have as backup for a rainy day. But I will also buy a few E-1 strings from another brand..

XJ
cheap and they work
Xico Jorge 19.04.2018
these are probably the cheapest strings you'll ever buy they do the job, break more of often and sound worst then the good ones but if you're on a very, very, very, very tight budget these are a good option

Work fine if you need to quickly replace a string.
JacobG&L 19.09.2021
they sound good to me, however they don't take too well to repeated intense bending.

They're strings, they're ok.

Great to have around in case you need a back up set.

I went back to ernie ball
Jakob4201 20.02.2014
I didn´t like those strings.
The sound was okay, maybe a little less bright than ernie balls or d´addarios, but not dramatically.
The Harley Bentons didn´t last long at all. My hands are pretty sweaty, so I have to change the strings often anyway, but the value strings were even faster rusty than the ones from other manufacturers.
But the biggest problem for me was the feeling. Those just feel different than more expensive strings. It´s hard to describe, but I would say they are kind of sticky.
If you can afford it, get more expensive strings.

not good, not terrible
ChurchOfCthulhu 08.06.2021
these are really cheap strings, so don't get your hopes up. I'm not saying they're bad, but they can't replace the d'addario or ernie ball strings i'm using on a regular basis. I don't like how they feel in the long run, but they're great as backup strings.
