I am an experienced guitar builder. I have never built a Ukulele so I bought this very attractive little kit. Very simple to assemble with the excellent illustrated instructions. However, you will need to have a level of expertise and guitar knowledge as with any DIY kit out there. I applied wood stain and poly varnish plus a little Hummingbird graphic and it looks and plays beautifully.
