I was excited to see this new offering from Harley Benton and wanted to be one of the first to order it. Yet when it arrived, the color of my guitar was an unexpected orange pumpkin, definitely not "Blonde".
The setup and tone of the guitar are both very good. Nice neck, minimum fret buzz. The Tesla pickups seem to be of good quality; not in need of an upgrade at all.
I've jammed on this guitar for a month now, I think its very decent.
Final conclusion: It is a solid guitar and sings with a good voice.
The pumpkin poop color is growing on me, it's like an ugly wife; less likely to get stolen!

Great sound, great value

Very happy with this guitar. The most important things -- how it plays and how it sounds -- are incredible bang for the buck. Out of the box it played well! Clean fretwork, intimated well; both pickups have the tones I was looking for in a guitar like this. Don't feel any need to upgrade. Only complaints: it weighs a ton (9.8 lbs) and is a pretty ugly orange-is color. For the playability and tone for $211, I will deal with those. Highly recommended.

Nice guitar for the money. Good tuning stability, neck and fretwork. The color is a little off but overall the guitar is comfortable to play and sounds great. Highly recommended!

Love it - except color
RickRey 11.07.2025
My first tele, and this did not disappoint. I'm still a beginner approaching intermediate, and quality of sound over my Yamaha strat is distinct. Love everything except the color. Thomann needs to change description to "Pumpkin". This is not even close to a blonde, which is what I wanted. But still looks good, and the incorrect color description does not outweigh the other attributes of this guitar, or the hassle of return.

Very Happy With Guitar
Logan R 05.02.2024
I took time to research Harley Benton guitars before ordering one, as I was a bit skeptical as the story goes. My first reaction when I opened the box and sat it next to my Fender Strat and Gibson Les Paul was that it looked nice, but also like a cheap guitar, however this thing sounds way better than either guitar. I was blown away at how the sound quality coming out of the pickups (played through a 2x12 Marshall combo amp. Guitar was a bit heavier weight wise than expected, but still not as heavier as the Les Paul. All in all I love it and just ordered a second Harley Benton guitar!

Honestly this is an amazing guitar for me but just to heavy
JB89 17.06.2025
I really struggled to return this guitar as the fit and finish is a 10/10 honestly this guitar just looks and sounds great. The frets were Level with no buzzing or sharp edges it really is a fantastic guitar. The only reason I returned it as it weighs a lot just over 9lbs and as I have a bad back it just felt fair to weighty. If they could get this guitar to a better more average weight or a tele it whole be amazing. Buy it if weight is not an issue because it’s brilliant in every over way, best Harley Benton by a mile and beats other guitars up to around the £450/£500 mark.
