Wow!

These strap locks are awesome! easy to put on and they hold the strap in place. I can't say anything bad about them.
Remember kids, if you are buying a guitar, buy a set of these strap locks. It's important to learn playing standing up, and these locks won't make u worry about strap coming off!
Essential and super cheap product by Thomann, I strongly recommend it to anyone who is buying or owns guitars!

Super value

I needed some trap locks to keep my bass anchored to my strap but don’t like traditional metal strap locks or plastic alternatives. A great alternative to fender at a fraction of the price. Does exactly what it’s supposed to!

Doesn't function at all (with Schaller straplock pin)
peti.simi 16.07.2026
Just bought it for rehearsals, but comes off every 20-30 minutes when standing with the guitar if you also move. Maybe if you sit or stay in one place it functions, but then there's no point in using it. Used with (the probably) most standard Schaller straplock pin.

Too soft
Joe___S 27.02.2025
These are too soft and too large, which causes them to fail when you need them most. You can pull the strap right off with moderate force, which will not save your guitar if you go to play and your strap is twisted or if the strap is at an extreme angle. After using these for a while, I noticed that the soft material causes them to turn concave, which doesn't look nice and makes it easier for the strap to slip off. I suppose it's better than nothing, but I would still handle the guitar carefully, which defeats the purpose of straplocks for me.

If HB is listening, maybe try again with a harder material and decrease the outer diameter slightly.
