Meh, good for 011001
mediocre 25.11.2021
So I got mine when it was just over 100EUR as a trial, to see if I like multiscale and 8strings.
It arrived with a messed up neck alignment, the high E string literally floating in the air next to the fretboard...fixed it in 5 minutes, but it's not something most new players (the obvious market for these cheap instruments) will even try. I guess if you are lucky you get one that actually passed QC.

Now for the real issue, the pickups. Active fart cannon in the neck and brown noise generator in the bridge position. Upgrading it would cost more than the whole instrument.
HB could get proper passive pickups in it from the same parts supplier Roswell, even in a fanned fret specific model: idea, bad execution...

Not what I imagined
Milt0n 11.12.2025
27” scale is too short for tuning 8th string to low E, even if you take a 0.8 string, which is the thickest that would fit through the tuner hole. It sounds ok overall, feels ok too. There are no glaring problems like frets aren’t cutting your hand. String saddles are constructed in a way that makes it harder to pull a new thick string through the body - you don’t see what you’re doing, and will have to stick it semi-randomly until you finally poke it through the saddle. Tension on 7th string is great, so maybe picks a 7 string and use a pitch shifter to make the tuning lower.

The Price is Right!

The Guitar is surprisingly well made for the price.

Being honest I switched the Pickups and Tuners out and the nut (Made of Bone) needed filed for the Correct gauge strings.

Otherwise, I would recommend this Guitar for anyone looking to get into 8 strings without breaking the bank or wanting to commit to a higher price point

Very Impressed for 175

Needs upgrades

For the money its a great entry into extended range, 8 string guitars. The tuners are not good, most are loose and dont hold tune. You will need to replace the strings immediately with a more suitable heavier gauge. There is almost zero sustain on the F# and B strings. The finish is good, the neck is smooth, and the frets are finished well.

From 5 to 2 star

Was extremely impressed with the guitar at first at this price point and still am to a degree. But over time mine in particular has not seemed to hold up particularly well, pickup selector was making to much noise and removed it, struggle more and more to keep the neck strait, but it’s most likely not an issue with them all. Fun modding platform and would sound great with clear pickups

About what you should expect for the price
Anonymous 31.05.2023
This guitar is fundamentally alright. Mine came with a couple issues that I am hoping can be resolved through support but I am unsure how this process works with this company. One of the saddles was stripped so I couldn't raise/lower the action. The other issue is that the tuning pegs don't accept strings that are large enough to make the low strings playable.

Good for the price

The body and neck are both great. Feels great and looks amazing.
Mine came with pretty sharp fret edges, but it's 100% playable still.
The pickups are a bit noisy, and sound kinda mushy. I have not changed the strings, so this might help to get some clarity.

Needs a a little touch

I like the way it feels, and the pickups sound great when I play clean. Metal sounds a bit muddy, but for the price of this guitar you can't be picky!
