This item was bought to be used with the self assembly jazz bass kit that Thomann sell. Unfortunately it did not fit, so it was returned. Maybe i just received a badly cut one, but buyer beware.

Good for HB jazz basses

Unfortunately, there's no mention it's only good for the 4 string HB JB.
NOT THE 5 STRING as I just bought!!!

Doesn’t fit the JB20

Even though it’s advertised as a HB J bass pick guard replacement it doesn’t fit the JB20. The holes are off which could be fixed by drilling new holes. But it doesn’t align with the control plate whatsoever. Theres a noticeable gap.
