Great Fretboard checking tool
Any level guitarist could check fretboard straightness and feel manually (string tension at 1st fret and 17th and check the action around 7th fret) or ,better, use this professional tool.
It works great, it has 2 sides, one for 24,75 inches scale and one for 25.5 inches scale.

Essential tool at a decent price
Thank you Thomann Harley Benton.
I just put this ruler on the neck and look for space. I put a light and colored background. I have a set of measuring strips, but eye observation works.
You can see the trussroad action in real time.
This prevents any damage or unintended settings.
The best compromise if neck curve setting can obtained easily. In my case, after exploring with completely flat neck, I went back to a setting with a little space, less than 0.40 mm in the middle of the neck, so I can dig with a pick on lower strings, and play with fingers.
In summary I could choose the curve so it does not βbuzzβ where I play the way I play :)
Great tool. Easy and essential at some point in a guitar journey.

Solid quaility
This is a solid tool with a feel of good quality. Has a different scale length on each side, one of which was perfect for my strat. I've not used the other side so can't comment on that.

Must-Have Tool
I was reluctant at first, after reading other reviews about sharp edges. However, the item that I received was fine, straight and without any sharp edges. In fact the edges are a bit rounded as if they've been sanded. If it's placed carefully on the fret-board, it won't do any damage. Its cheap, it does the job, I'm happy with this purchase!

This product is good for beginner that want to setup a guitar.
the H.B nothed straightedge guitar is good for it price and you can afford it but dont expect this product to be excelent like the 100+ euro stewmac the quality is not bad the only issue is the corner because of verysharp edges you need to be careful how you use it
But Overall is good and im satisfied for the price
The manufacturing i want to put 3.5 star

This thing saved me a lot of money!
I bought this some time ago to fix my jackson kelly. It is a pretty nice tool that can save you a lot of money because you don't have to go to a local guitar tech for a set up every now and then. Everyone can use it without any previous experience you just put it on top of the fretboard and adjust the truss rod until there is no gap

Excellent product, great price!
You can either buy this or get a pretty much identical one for 4-5 times the price from a US luthier shop.
I actually prefer this one over the ridiculously expensive ones from StewMac. I always cut my fingers on the sharp edges of the StewMac-model. This one from Harley Benton has slightly less sharp edges and is otherwise the exact same quality.
Better product at a much lower price, highly recommended!
