Not quite as good as the hype, but a fun guitar for cheap
I read and watched a lot of reviews of this guitar before I bought it, amd most of them seemed a bit too good to be true. I was just looking for a "don't worry about it"- kind of a guitar for playing garage rock, so I ordered one anyways.
The good: the guitar was well intonated straight out of the box. It holds tuning well. It is a nice comfortable shape and weight to play.
The bad: the smell; it has this quite strong synthetic smell probably from the body's sealant that doesn't seem to be fading. Many frets are a bit sharp on the edges unlike in most Youtube reviews which makes me think Thomann gives some extra love to the ones sent out to reviewers. Saddles have sharp corners, I broke a string there after very little playing. The pots are very cheap and turn almost by themselves, I will change them. The pickup screws are screwed in at a slight unintentional slant, probably doesn't matter but looks a bit sloppy.
Verdict: I am still very happy with this guitar, I have played it a lot and it's just a lot of fun. For the cheap price you get a quite playable instrument. The tuning and intonation are very important in a guitar,that way at least I can overlook a few cosmetic and other quality flaws.

Great guitar! For 179 € it' very well is finished and the vintage look is just amazing, awesome color and it sounds good! Comfortable modern C shape neck.
