I restrung my Takamine with these as the factory strings sounded cheap to me (how to describe that? Thinner less rich tone than I had hoped for). These made the guitar sound a lot better IMO (maybe the factory strings had been put on a long time before I received it and had gone stale?)
The conclusion is that I am happy with these strings. They have been on the guitar now for a couple of months, many rehearsals and a few gigs and still sound OK, although I will change them soon.

Top sound for the money

Compared to what you pay, you get tenfold back in sound. Of course, they do not compare to other brands, but great sound for the money.
