They work. Would like two spring positions for ease of storage. On nail clippers, this has long been implemented :-)

Exactly what it needs to do

I actually purchased a cutter in a cheap shop before, and it was just a joke. I was surprised then, when this looked very similar to my previous cutter. Luckily. this one is of a much better quality. Cuts strings without effort, good grip. perfect size.

Decent side cutters for fine wire

I have been using this to trim strings for a year now, and so far it is holding its cutting edges ok. I only use this on 30's and lighter strings.

String cutter a must have in the gig bag or at home ,it's cheaply priced so losing it would not be a great expense ,it does it's job, I found it too small ,not top quality but at this price great value and does not break the bank ,
